Heartsaver AED & CPR-C for Targeted Responders
Time Required: 6 Hours
The Heartsaver AED & CPR is a comprehensive program designed to strengthen the Chain of Survival and provide training on Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to targeted responders. The course is designed to teach lay rescuers the lifesaving skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and relief of choking in adults and children. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use is taught for adults and children. This course teaches participants to recognize and treat emergencies such as cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke and choking.

Emergency First Aid, CPR-C and AED Targeted Responder
Time required: 8 hours + 3 hours
This course combines adult and child CPR along with the recognition and treatment of medical emergencies and traumatic injuries. Modules include shock, bleeding and wound care, burns, head and spinal management along with diabetic emergencies, seizures, asthma and allergic reactions. Course provides the steps for relief of choking for adults and children. During the second day course objectives provide the participant knowledge and skills to assist in resuscitation by performing CPR and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Emergency Trauma Life Support
This is 8-hour program is ideal for front-line rescuers who may be involved in Confined Space Rescue, Construction Safety or Firefighter Rescue. The course focus is on trauma patients in hazardous prehospital environments, who need to be stabilized, treated and possibly moved quickly to a safe area. This is a skills oriented program including skill stations in airway management, patient assessment, extrication & spinal immobilization.
The Emergency Trauma Life Support (ETLS) course is a unique program created in recognition for the real need of frontline rescuers to have training in the handling of trauma patients. It is designed to enhance and increase knowledge and skill in delivering critical trauma care.
This course promotes critical thinking as the foundation for providing quality care and helps providers make informed decisions in the field. Participants must have a current First Aid & CPR certificate.

Emergency Oxygen Administration and Airway Management Course
This a 4-hour comprehensive safety-oriented course designed to meet the training and continuing education requirements of first responders and the general public.
The objectives of the program are to establish and provide guidelines and protocols in the application and use of oxygen and related delivery systems in emergency patient care situations. Throughout the course, participants increase their familiarity with the concepts, principles and practices of oxygen administration while increasing their level of confidence, competence, and ease of use of oxygen delivery systems.
Skills and competence are further acquired through theoretical and practical components. These include a comprehensive review, reinforcement, and application of basic principles and practices related to efficient airway management and rescue breathing (artificial ventilation).
